Lemon sevai a very easy and tasty recipe. We always have lemon sevai accompanied with sweet sevai. Here I give you step by step procedure along with picture for preparing this recipe.
Different version of sevai can also be prepared like coconut sevai, vegetable sevai etc.

Method:
- Heat oil in a pan add mustard seeds and allow to crackel. Add urad dal, channa dal, cashew nuts allow it to slightly brown then add green chilli and curry leaves.
- Add boiled peas, Turmeric powder and fry for a minute then switch of the flame. Add sevai or idiyappam (loosen the strings(sevai/idiyappam) using hand, if you cant able to loosen you can sprinkle some oil and loosen the strings before adding) and add lemon juice and mix well.
Notes:
- Purely its your preference of adding peas. It tastes good if you not adding peas also.
- Cashew nuts gives good flavor and taste. So I prefer to add cashew nuts most of the time comparing to peanuts.
