Coriander chutney ( kothamalli chutney) is a delicious healthy recipe goes very well with idli and dosa. Here I am giving you this recipe with step by step procedure along with pictures.
Ingredients for Coriander Chutney:
(Serves 2 to 3)
Coriander leaves – 1 bunch
Onions – 1 finely chopped
Coresly grinded corriender seed – 1 tsp (optional)
Split urad dal – 1 tsp
Channa dal / Kadala paruppu – 1 tsp
Red Chilli – 1 finely chopped
Coconut grated – 2 tbsp
Salt to taste

Method:
- Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a pan, add channa dal and urad dal, allow it to slightly brown and add chilli.
- Add chopped onions and saute for a minute.
- Add coresly grounded coriander seeds and mix well - (optional)
- Add cleaned coriander leaves and allow it to cook.
- After it is cooked switch off the flame and add grated coconut and mix well.
- Add required salt and grind to a paste or cores texture according to your preference.
Note:
- You can also add tomatoes. If you adding, add after onions and follow the step as discussed.
