Fresh Fig Milkshake

Figs Milkshake are very healthiest and delicious shake which can be prepared very easily. Figs are high in natural sugar, fiber, calcium, magnesium, antioxidants, vitamins A, E, K. The seeds of the fig gives a twist to this milkshake which will give a crunchy texture to the milkshake.



Choose figs that are dark in color and tender. Don't wash the ripe fig until you eat it. when the fig is ripe you can refrigerate until you are eating it. If it is not ripe keep it in room temperature. Figs are available in wide variety which vary in color and texture. 


Ingredients for Fresh Fig Milkshakes:


Figs – 2 chopped
Milk – 1 ½ cups
Sugar – 1 tbsp(optional)
Honey – 3 tbsp
Vanilla ice cream – 2 scoops


Method:

  • Chop the fig and keep aside
  • Add the fig and 1/2 of chilled milk, sugar in the mixer and blend it until the figs are grinded fully.
  • Then add honey, and 1 scoop of vanilla ice cream and blend it to a smooth creamy milkshake.
  • Transfer it to the serving glass and top it with a scoop of ice cream and serve.

Notes:

  • You can also use hand blander for preparing milkshakes.
  • Use full fat milk for a rich creamy milkshake.
  • If you want you can remove the outer skin of the fig.
