Sugar Cane Juice Recipe - Karumbu Juice Recipe


My all time favorite thirst quencher sugarcane juice. These photos where taken during my recent trip to  native where I got this farm fresh sugarcane juice crushed using machine during sugarcane harvest at the farm. Bought it home and added a little twist.






Method:

  • To the sugarcane juice (2 cup) add ginger (1 inch chopped and crushed) and lemon juice(1/2 lemon juice) and mix well.
  • Strain the juice 
  • Add ice cubes and serve cold
If you want to prepare the juice from scratch peel the outer skin of the sugarcane using heavy knife and cut into small piece (2 cup) and blend in the mixture by adding water (1/2 cup), ginger (1 inch chopped and crushed) and lemon juice (1/2 lemon juice). Strain and add icecubes. Serve cold.


Note:

  • I prefer to use machine crushed sugarcane juice than home prepared one because machine crushed will taste great anytime.
